About Our Council

Most Holy Trinity Council 14614 is located at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Covington, La. Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church is the newest Catholic Church within the Archdiocese of New Orleans located in the Covington/Mandeville area on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain approximately 30 miles from New Orleans.

The Parish was founded because of the demographic shifts in population as a result of Hurricane Katrina. Also many of the religious objects used in Church came from Churches closed or heavily damaged by the hurricane. This provided The Knights of Columbus an opportunity to serve the newest Catholic Church with one of the newest Council’s in the New Orleans area.

Our Council was granted a Charter with 36 members August 15, 2008 with our first formal meeting 9/11/2008 in a classroom at Most Holy Trinity. The men in our council are committed to making our community a better place, while supporting Most Holy Trinity Church and enhancing our own faith. We strive to be devoted men of prayer and integrity who encourage one another and support the needs of our family, our parish and our community.
